So, I simply thought about all of the meals we make most frequently and wrote them down. We all have meals that we make pretty regularly. Then, I moved onto the blue cards for main meals. I started writing the days of the week on the white cards.
Now, I didn’t re-invent the wheel on this next step. Since we don’t have leftovers very frequently nor do we dine out very often, I decided to double up on those cards and use the front and the back but there are plenty of cards in the stack that I could have easily made several of each and kept them separate.
Then I determined what other “sections” I could use in my organizer basket, and there were two. colored index cards (I like these since there are five colors)įirst, I deternined what makes up meals and it worked out to four categories.Here are some supplies you will need for your meal planning basket: What does that mean to you?
